Airlie Beach - Whitsunday Islands Cairns

After picking our hard working week on a farm for the mango, we drove the bus down to Airlie Beach. The Whitsunday Iceland consist of 74 individual islands lie off the coast of Airlie Beach, a few km from the Great Barrier Reef. The islands are one of the most popular holiday destinations in Australia, because the nature there, very reminiscent of the South Seas. We indulged there a 2-day sailing trip around the islands including bushwalking and snorkelling. Unfortunately for us the weather has not played but we had a lot of wind, which in turn made the exciting sailing.

we have finally made it! The semester is over and it's all written exams. Just grab the last few things together and fly to Cairns this evening, then where the adventure begins. Be a snorkel / dive trip on the Great Barrier Reef, make driving in the rain forest and try to work. Wanted to go back to commute to and from the Sunshine Coast and take the road Attractions.
