Alice Springs - Uluru
After Martin is again flown back to the Sunshine Coast, we went to Dennis or by plane to Central Australia (Northern Territory), that is, Alice Springs, before he ends his journey . After 3 days more or less Sightseeing in Alice Springs (there are see not all there too much) and the hostel pool rumlungern due to the incredible heat of his guided tour began with a group to Uluru (Ayers Rock). On the first day we went to Kings Canyon, about 400 km from Alice Springs towards the border with Western Australia. spent the evening we went on to Curtin Springs Farm (a cattle farm about the size of Belgium) on the open-Himmer the night. At the next commit tomorrow it went on to Kata Tjuta (the Olgas), before the evening was the biggest highlight, the Uluru. The night was spent at a campsite very close and the next morning belonged entirely to Uluru. At noon we went back to Alice Springs (approximately 450 km), stopping on a dry salt lake and a camel farm. In the evening we went to a joint Australia-Day evening in the pub in Alice, before heading back the next day went to the Sunshine Coast.

Adelaide - Glenelg
On 16 january morning we arrived in Adelaide. The weather once again not so great but that should change dramatically in the coming days. A highlight was that you could rent bikes for free in Adelaide, Adelaide and we have views from the wheel off. Coincidentally, just the professional cycling race Tour Down Under in Adelaide stopped and we had the chance to cast a look at Lance Armstrong and some German cyclist. A few days later we then procured a rental car and drove into the countryside. Adelaide and the surrounding area was heavily influenced by German immigrants, so that towns like Hahndorf and Lobethal look more like a German home movie. Since it is not hard to believe that the large resident wine industry produces some of the best Australian wines;) every 2 km, there was a wine cellar where you could taste wines for free ... After the third wine tasting, we had to give up, however, since we were traveling by car, unfortunately. The last few days in Adelaide we have in a suburb directly spent on the beach called Glenelg.

Big Update:)
G'day all-together;
as you can see below, we are both now for a few days back from our trip through East and South and Central Australia. In the next few days we have lots of free time again since our first semester at 20.02. continues and we have clarified as good as anything. We will in the coming days some more photos to upload old albums and provided most of the photos with comments or explanations. Furthermore
go the latest photos from Adelaide and Alice Springs online. For space reasons, we ought to delete old records.
Many greetings from the rainy Sunshine Coast!
Martin and Dennis
